Stories of Veg*n Inspiration

On this Animal Voices, we share some stories from folks who have gone veg. The show features a collection of diverse tales about what brought people to vegetarianism or veganism. From sudden epiphanies, to gradual transitions, tune in to hear what originally motivated others to make the change. (Soon, we'll put together a different show addressing why people went veg, and then decided to become omni again — plain, uncooked tofu on crackers anyone? — but we'll save those stories for another time!)

possible guests for future shows:
someone from SPEAK
http://www.speakcampaigns.org.uk/
to talk about the compaign in general, and perhaps the 'remembering george' day in Britain, Jul22.

Perhaps Mel Broughton or Robert Cogswell?

Someone from SHAC UK (surprisingly absent from your archives) - perhaps Greg Avery.

The brilliant ALISTAIR CURRIE of BAUV - about the history of the British Union, about why vivisection is bad science but equally importantly, why it is morally abhorrent.

umm... i don't think this has anything to do with the topic for the show.

from what i've heard, the best way to suggest a show idea is to e-mail lauren or lamia or rob... and a please and thank you probably wouldn't hurt, either.

thanks for the show this week, animal voices. it was totally inspiration to hear everyone's stories, and it gave me energy to keep going.
peace.

Regarding poster #1, I agree, this is not the place to post suggestions for future shows. And how about when you email the host you are more polite than you are here? A "thanks for a great show" or "I appreciate all the work you do" or or "I have some suggestions for your already wonderful show" or something more than orders barked. Something that is more polite than the commanding statements above and the ones you left in other threads where you recommended guests would be nice. It comes across unbelievably rude. That is, assuming you do appreciate the show. A little effort to be polite goes a long way.
