Here's Dr. Larson-Meyer's fluid replacement beverage from p. 130 of Vegetarian Sports Nutrition.

"Use the following recipes to make a fluid-replacement beverage based on fruit juice that provides 6 to 7 percent carbohydrate by volume, 600 to 700 milligrams of potassium, and 291 milligrams of sodium (if 1/8 tsp salt is used) or 581 milligrams sodium (if 1/4 tsp salt is used). The beverage will be a natural mixture of glucose, fructose and sucrose."

Recipe 1

3/4 C apple juice (preferably filtered)
1 1/2 C black cherry or grape juice
Approx 2 C cold water to make 1 L
1/8 to 1/4 tsp table salt (not light, preferably iodized)

Recipe 2

2 1/4 C grape juice
Approx 2 cold water to make 1 L
1/8 to 1/4 tsp table salt
